In 2022, the political community of Bischofsheim set up a working group to initiate local remembrance work and put it on a permanent footing. Its tasks include preparing the laying of 14 stumbling stones for Jewish victims of the National Socialist regime on February 5, 2024. In addition, a "history workshop" is to be set up to continue the work of remembrance in the medium and long term.

The working group is not a registered association, but an association of committed residents of Bischofsheim. It is mainly financed by donations and grants from the municipality. Anyone who would like to get involved is welcome to do so. You can find our events and regular meetings here.
